What We Store Locally

The Extension stores the following data locally on your device only:

Usage Count: Number of exports you've made today (for Free tier users)
Payment Status: Whether you have purchased Pro version (managed by ExtensionPay)

This data is stored using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API and never leaves your device.

What We Do NOT Collect

How the Extension Works

Local Processing: All conversation extraction and PDF generation happens entirely in your browser
No External Servers: The Extension does not communicate with any external servers
No Data Upload: Your conversations are never uploaded or transmitted anywhere
Direct Download: Exported files are saved directly to your computer

Permissions Explained

The Extension requests the following permissions:

`activeTab`

Purpose: To access the current tab's content when you click "Extract Conversation"
Usage: Only used to read conversation content from Claude.ai, ChatGPT, or DeepSeek pages
Limitation: Only works when you explicitly click the extension icon

`scripting`

Purpose: To inject content scripts for conversation extraction
Usage: Enables the Extension to read and process conversation content
Limitation: Only works on supported platforms (Claude.ai, ChatGPT, DeepSeek)

`storage`

Purpose: To store usage count and payment status locally
Usage: Tracks daily export count (Free tier) and payment verification (Pro tier)
Limitation: All data stays on your device

`host_permissions`

Platforms: claude.ai, chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, chat.deepseek.com, extensionpay.com
Purpose: To enable the Extension to work on these specific platforms
Usage: Only used to extract conversations when you explicitly request it
ExtensionPay: Used only for payment processing and verification

Third-Party Services

ExtensionPay (Payment Processing)

The Extension uses ExtensionPay for payment processing:

Purpose: To handle Pro version purchases ($13.98 one-time payment)
What ExtensionPay Collects:
- Payment information (processed by Stripe, not stored by us)
- Email address (for payment receipt and account management)
- Payment status (to verify Pro version access)
Privacy: ExtensionPay has its own privacy policy at https://extensionpay.com/privacy
Data Sharing: We do NOT receive your payment card information
Your Control: You can manage your payment through ExtensionPay dashboard

No Other Third-Party Services

The Extension does NOT use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

Data Retention

Usage Count: Reset daily at midnight (local time)
Payment Status: Verified with ExtensionPay on each use
Exported Files: Saved to your computer's download folder (controlled by you)

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

View Data: Check your usage count and payment status in the Extension popup
Delete Data: Uninstall the Extension to remove all locally stored data
Payment Management: Manage your payment through ExtensionPay dashboard
Export Control: You decide what to export and when

Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
